The Idaho Sex Offender Registration Act requires sex offenders, whether convicted in Idaho, or any other state or federal court, to register with the Sheriff’s office in their county with in two (2) working days of establishing residence or temporary domicile. (Title 18, Chapters 83 and 84, Idaho Code)

Failure to register is a felony with a maximum penalty for adult offenders of ten (10 ) years imprisonment and/or $5,000 fine.  Failure to register is a misdemeanor for juvenile offender with a fine of up to $1,000.
